ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- STRATEGY: Led vision, strategy, and execution for increasing customer sales and share-of-wallet via digital channels. Led all aspects of cross-department change management to help us align and develop omni-channel customer engagement capabilities across digital marketing, ecommerce, and customer service.
- PEFORMANCE: Developed digital performance KPIs and insights used to guide prioritization of growth opportunities, customer solutions, product features and digital investments.
- OPERATIONS: Created and led ecommerce and digital merchandising operations. Revamped all item attribution strategies and capabilities, using some of the latest AI technologies. Focused on organizational efficacy through people and process transformation.
- PLANNING: Supported ELT and Board of Directors to establish long-range goals, strategies, and plans.
- LEADERSHIP: Joined Sysco when “digital” was part of a start-up function. Recruited, built and led multiple teams across eCommerce, Business Growth, Digital Marketing, Data and Analytics. Led the executive team in translating the strategic digital vision into actionable plans to drive growth and profitability. Inspired a culture of continuous learning and professional development by developing programs and offering opportunities for employees to ensure their growth and success.
RESULTS
- Increased site conversion rates by 4% YOY, equivalent to ~$1B in incremental top-line sales.
- Drove share-of-wallet gains by 7% YOY, against a $35B online business.
- Improved overall customer engagement by > 10% YOY.
- Lowered item attribution costs, including product photography, by 80%.
